Legal Education and Advocacy For Youth

LEAFY MAKES THE YOUTH FLOURISH

LEAFY Youth Advocacy is a non-profit organization founded by Bryan Dong dedicated to empowering our youth through legal education and advocacy. LEAFY aims to educate the youth on their rights, advocate for their wellbeing, and engage with their communities.

Legal Education Programs

  • Developing and implementing educational programs to teach young people about their legal rights and responsibilities with the support of legal professionals.
  • LEAFY will work towards providing workshops, seminars, and online materials that are tailored to the needs and interests of youth. These educational initiatives will be held both online and physically within Massachusetts .

Youth Advocacy

  • Advocating for the rights and well-being of young people in legal and policy forums. LEAFY aims to identify injustices in policies enforced on the youth and will actively advocate for changes in these policies using feedback from the younger community.
  • LEAFY will aslo be working on issues such as juvenile justice, education rights, youth employment, and other areas that directly impact the lives of youth. The LEAFY team will achieve this through closely following media and identifying areas of contention.

Community Outreach

  • Engaging with local communities to raise awareness about legal issues affecting children.
  • Providing resources and information to help youth and their families navigate the legal system online through blogs, posts, and personalized responses to requests for support.

Legal Support Services

LEAFY acts as a support mechanism, an outlet which you can rely on for support through any social injustice you may face. We will work towards providing legal support services, such as legal clinics or hotlines, where youth can seek advice and assistance on legal matters – connecting with like-minded youth and a community willing to advocate for your rights.
